Now that the kids are done with their intro, its time for me to hog the space. I’m the mommy of the two. This is going to be something for them to read when they are big. For the next few posts, it would just be updates on Pappa based on the mails I had sent my siblings about her. Posts referring to the current activities might appear from time to time.

This is me – Thambi

I’m Thambi. The kiddo in the family. I saw this world on Sept 20th and am currently in a love-hate relationship with it. My sis says I resemble her as she is the one who prayed to God and got me into this world. I secretly think I have my own face. lol. I love to smile and mostly seen with a beautiful curve on the face. I cry sometimes to just satisfy my mom. You see, the other day, she was telling my grandma that she likes to see my face twinge and lips wobble, before I put the most pathetic expression.

Born on the last day of the year, I am the first girl baby in the household. And what an excitement it was for everyone. Some of my great aunts had told my mom that they wouldn’t even come and visit her, if it was not a girl. My paternal grandfather was so overjoyed to hear that it was a girl, that he wanted to come see me immediately. In all the joy and celebrations, there was one little soul who felt sad that it was a girl. He had wanted a boy so he could have him in his team when playing cricket. He had also had a bet with his cousins that it would be a boy. So when he found that it was a girl, he was almost in tears. This was my cousin. But now, he loves me to no ends. It is also the same person with whom I fight a lot..

Hi there!

A memory of our growing up together. For now, mummy is going to be the sole contributor. Once we grow up, we will be taking over.
